This pop-up is a colourful, playful celebration of Singapore’s heritage, where LEGO bricks bring Peranakan-inspired homes to life in the most creative way. Wander through rooms filled with vibrant builds—from a striking LEGO brick tile wall at the entrance to cosy living spaces, dreamy kids’ rooms, and bold adult retreats—and discover how imagination can turn everyday spaces into something magical. You can even try your hand at creating your own LEGO Peranakan mosaic or retro Boombox, collect stamps to design a unique postcard, and test your observation skills with the iconic brick wall challenge. It’s the perfect mix of nostalgia, creativity, and hands-on fun for all ages.
The pop-up runs at Design Orchard, and there are exclusive LEGO rewards, limited-edition keepsakes, and fan-built displays to inspire every visitor. Don’t miss this chance to play, build, and celebrate Singaporean culture in such a unique, interactive way!
What to Expect at the LEGO Shophouse Experience
- When & Where: From 13 March to 5 April, 11 am – 9 pm daily at Design Orchard.
- Explore Unique Spaces:
- Snap a photo with the Peranakan-inspired LEGO tile wall.
- Visit rooms inspired by Singaporean homes, including a vibrant dining area, creative kids’ room, and bold adult room.
- Hands-On Fun:
- Create a Peranakan postcard and build a retro LEGO Boombox or mosaic tile (limited quantities daily).
- Spot fan-built LEGO creations celebrating community and creativity.
- Special Rewards:
- Sign up for LEGO® Insiders onsite to claim exclusive LEGO sets (limited daily).
- Guess the brick count in the tile wall for a chance to win a LEGO set.
