Taylor Swift has officially revealed her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, set for release on October 3, 2025 via Republic Records. The pop icon shared the news in a surprise appearance on the New Heights podcast hosted by her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.

Inspired by her record-breaking Eras Tour, the album features 12 tracks, including the title song with Sabrina Carpenter. Swift describes it as “a glimpse into my inner life during the tour — exuberant, electric, joyful, wild, and dramatic.” The striking album cover, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, shows the singer submerged in a bathtub, rhinestone dress and all.

Unlike her last sprawling Tortured Poets Department release, this project is tighter and more upbeat, reflecting her current life and creative high. Fans can expect multiple formats, including limited-edition CDs, vinyl, and a “sweat and vanilla perfume” cassette.
