Aimed at fostering greater inclusiveness through co-creating art, Frasers Property Singapore is launching its annual initiative, Art For Good, in time for the June holiday, with family-friendly activities at nine Frasers Property Singapore malls.
The event will run from May 24 – July 28. Sign up to receive an SG$25 goodie bag including an SG$5 FRx Gift Card, painting kit, and shopping vouchers, now or get more info here!
The signature event at Art For Good is Paint It Forward, art jamming sessions that draw on co-creating art to bring people of all abilities together for a more inclusive society.
The sessions are designed to be inclusive, accessible and wheelchair-friendly regardless of age, ability or background, and anyone can take part with a S$10 donation. All proceeds will go to Community Chest in support of art programs for persons with disabilities, and Frasers Property Singapore will donate another $10 for each completed canvas to raise funds for a worthy cause.
This year, Frasers Property Singapore has invited five artists on the autism spectrum from The Art Faculty to lend their artistic expressions to Paint It Forward. These talented artists have specially designed outlined canvases inspired by their works of art, and participants can co-create a canvas of inclusivity with them.
Visitors to Art For Good will also get to explore A Stroll in the Painting, a roving life-sized installation handpainted by heritage mural artist Yip Yew Chong depicting Singapore’s bustling marketplaces in the 1960s and 1970s. Presented by National Gallery Singapore, visitors can enjoy interactive storytelling sessions and opportunities to meet with the artist throughout July.
Co-create art and connect with the community at the Art For Good event!
Art For Good and its theme #EveryoneIsAble, brings people of all abilities together to co-create, explore and learn about inclusivity and diversity.
Anyone who wants to co-create art pieces and connect with their local community.
Selected merchandise from The Art Faculty will be available for sale this year at pop-up stores and malls of Frasers Property Singapore, and all proceeds will go to The Art Faculty and their artists.
