  • TZU CHI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL: Newly Opened In Bukit Jalil

    Opening its doors in January 2020, Tzu Chi International School is an extension of Tzu Chi's Da Ai Kindergarten and is located in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.   • KING HENRY VIII COLLEGE: Commonwealth Scholarships For 10 Students

    The King Henry VIII College Malaysia is offering students from the developing Commonwealth countries around the world a RM300,000 scholarship to study in the prestigious school beginning this year. The initiative is part of the school's Corporate Social Responsibility program and as a symbol of the school's commitment and determination to provide a strong and solid education for students. Applications for the KH8 College Commonwealth Scholarship Awards will open in June for the September 2020 intake. There will be six scholarships for academics and two each for the music and arts category, as well as sports category, starting with those entering the sixth form in the new term. To qualify, applicants must also be citizens by birth of a Commonwealth country, and are currently being educated in a Commonwealth nation. King Henry VIII College is a co-educational boarding and day school for pupils from the age of three to 18. The school delivers the UK national curriculum and boasts a 1:10 teacher to students ratio.

    ISKL: PRAXIS Program

    Aimed at Grade 9 High School students, PRAXIS is an innovative interdisciplinary one-year program at The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) reimagines the classroom experience. PRAXIS fosters creative exploration, effective collaboration, and problem-solving through a flexible thinking space. Students reflect deeply and act with agency to make a difference.

    Featuring a smaller learning community and flexible timetable, PRAXIS focuses on problem-based learning and situates the current science, English, social studies, and art/design curriculum around a series of complex, compelling problems that demand an interdisciplinary approach. Math, world language, and elective courses continue to be taught in the regular classroom setting.

    A recent PRAXIS presentation was testament to the powerful learning that takes place at ISKL. It was inspiring to see ISKL’s School-Wide Learning Results (SLRs) in action with students engaged in high-level formal debates about Truth, Open Societies and how Artificial Intelligence is impacting our lives. They came up with their own authentic views,  demonstrating ISKL’s SLRs with their ability to think creatively, reason critically, and communicate effectively.

  • DWI EMAS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL: First Entrepreneurial School In Johor

    Dwi Emas International School and Green Target Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the end of 2019 to mark the future establishment of Dwi Emas International School, an entrepreneurial school in Pengerang, Johor. This will be the third international school for Ace Edventure Group after the ones in Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya. The campus will be situated on an 8-acre land within the INNOCITY township project and accommodate up to 1,800 students. The School is targeted for completion by 2022 and cater to both local students, as well as foreign students, particularly from Singapore. Meanwhile, Dwi Emas International School in Shah Alam has opened its preschool in January 2020 for kids from 3 to 6 years, featuring a Finnish-Asian Hybrid Program with Entrepreneurship. Renowned for one of the best education systems in the world, the School worked with Finland’s creators of early childhood education for a program that provides a complete, holistic experience catering to each child’s individuality and interests.
