Experience A Post-Apocalyptic World

2020 Mar 28

When the world ends, our cities will crumble and be reclaimed by nature. At least, that’s the popular image. But you don’t need to wait for the apocalypse to see how things will crumble. You don’t even need to leave civilization—there are plenty of glimpses of the post-apocalyptic world hidden right among us. Survive in a post-apocalyptic world where electrical energy is the new universal currency. Ever wanted to learn more about renewable energy? For your information, renewable energy is made from resources Mother Nature can replace, like wind, water and sunshine. Renewable energy is also called “clean energy” or “green power” because it doesn’t pollute the air or the water. Instead of using electricity to make wind, a wind turbine is used to make electricity. You’re in luck as this time, you will harness electrical energy using renewable energy sources and be the team to outwit and outlive your peers. Harness electrical energy by using solar panels and/or other equipment provided to collect as many ‘Joules’ as possible.

Some of the learning outcomes you can expect from this experience include creative thinking, problem-solving and investigation skills, knowledge on renewable energy and engineering skills.

Tickets: SG$30 onwards and available through Singapore Science Centre.
