CIS Open Minds Mamas Meet-Up At Gardens By The Bay
A Fun & Interactive Morning & Learn All About The Program Open Minds
The Canadian International School (CIS) is inviting all mamas to take the morning off on Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 9am-11am. Spend a fun and interactive morning at Gardens by the Bay with CIS’ Open Minds Team and learn why so many people are raving about its unique primary school program, Open Minds.
The event is entirely FREE, and light refreshments (coffee, tea, fruit juice, and pastries) will be served at the end at a nearby cafe, also for free! Click HERE to RSVP.
The morning is not like a typical School Open House. Instead of observing students in a classroom, you’ll actually get to see first-hand what it’s like to be a primary student at CIS by taking part in an Open Minds class yourself. You’ll be stepping into the shoes of Dr. Plog, Chief Scientist from Mars Space Agency, and participating in a wide range of authentic and enriching, hands-on activities as you explore and discover all the fascinating facts about “how living things are connected to the environment in which they live.” Open Minds Coordinator Carl Brown will also be providing an informative, engaging explanation about the reasons behind the choice of each activity.
