The Flower Dome is back to welcome visitors and this time around with changing mini garden displays that are introduced every fortnight. The first mini-garden of the Pocket Gardens Surprise is the Plant Library. In this display, take a look at the versatility of ornamental epiphytic plants such as bromeliads, ferns, orchids and aroids, learn about their adaptations in nature.
Make your way into an urban oasis and take respite amidst the luscious shades of green. Take in the sight of brilliantly coloured macaws as well as the beautiful blooms of the bamboo orchid, a native species that is used extensively in the landscapes of our metropolitan city-state. Be drawn into a dreamy canopy of trailing flowering and foliage plants with Hanging Gardens, a display inspired by the fabled Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Don’t miss the popular Edible Garden which features vegetables and herbs grown for use in the kitchen.
All visitors are required to pre-book their visit date and time before visiting Flower Dome to ensure safe distancing and better crowd regulation. You can buy online HERE or through the mobile app HERE.
Explore the various nooks and crannies around Flower Dome as these changing mini garden displays are introduced throughout Flower Dome every fortnight.
