Cool Down And Splash Away!

Sunway Lagoon Amusement Park And Waterpark In Kuala Lumpur

Although some of these water parks may be a bit of a drive out of the city, all are worth a visit if you’re looking for a splish-splashing time to beat the tropical heat in KL. Here are our top picks of the Best Waterparks for Kids in KL and the surrounding region. Time to pack the swim bag, don some swimmers, grab the sunnies, slather on sunblock, and head out for some aqua play!

  • This is actually the closest waterpark to the city, situated as in Bandar Sunway in Subang Jaya. There is plenty to keep the little (and big) ones going for hours including the adrenalien-inducing Congo Challenge, loopy African Pythons, thrilling Pirates Revenge and exciting Vuvuzela. As an added bonus, when the kiddos have exhausted all the slides, they can try out some drier fun at the adjacent theme park.

  • Johor Bahru has loads to offer in terms of shopping and theme parks, but if it's water fun you’re after then hop in the car and head down to the Legoland waterpark. Get ready to slide, splash and weave your way around some seriously aqua-tastic fun here. Kids will love building their own raft to float down the lazy river and also enjoy the awesome Lego wave pool. The slides are fab as are the Joker Soaker and the Duplo safari. Book yourselves into the Legoland Hotel for some themed bedroom fun, but be warned, a single day pass won’t be enough!
