Home » Kuala Lumpur » Dining For A Cause: Le Méridien PJ Turns Pink This October
This October, Le Méridien Petaling Jaya isn’t just serving up flavour — it’s serving purpose. In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel has teamed up with the Pink Ribbon Wellness Foundation and HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm for a heartwarming dining initiative that blends indulgence with impact.
For every guest who dines at any of its featured restaurants this month, RM1 will be donated to support breast cancer awareness and outreach efforts — a small act that carries a big message of hope.
The spotlight shines first on the Seafood Dinner Buffet: Sear & Shell, happening every Friday and Saturday from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. With over 100 seafood dishes on rotation, guests can feast on everything from grilled tiger prawns to nipah crab served piping hot with mantou buns. The buffet is priced at RM198 per adult, RM138 per senior, and RM99 per child, while little ones aged six and below dine for free — making it a feast that families can truly dive into together.
Weekends also bring a delightful pink twist to the table with the Buffet in Bloom – Pink October Series, held every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This high tea buffet celebrates the sweetness of dragon fruit, turning the humble fruit into something extraordinary. Expect vibrant creations like Blush Dragon Sushi, Crispy Calamari with Spicy Dragon Cheese Sauce, Lemongrass Chicken Percik with Dragon Fruit Glaze, and a spread of pink desserts including Velvety Cheesecake with Warm Dragon Fruit Lava and Pink Dragon Fruit Panna Cotta. All fruits are proudly sourced from HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm. Prices start at RM148 per adult, RM98 per senior, and RM74 per child, with complimentary dining for children under six.
And for those who love their afternoons a little more elegant, the Pink October Afternoon Tea at Latitude 03°06’ is the perfect pick-me-up. Served daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, it’s a charming set for two featuring delicate savouries and pink-hued pastries, priced at RM178 per set for two persons.
Whether it’s a lavish seafood night, a whimsical weekend tea, or a serene afternoon indulgence, every bite this month carries a message of hope. Through flavour, colour, and compassion, Le Méridien Petaling Jaya reminds us that even the simplest act like sharing a meal, can help make a difference.
