Kennedy Town is the seamless melting pot of old and new, and one of the hottest neighborhoods in Hong Kong! With MTR access, its easy to get to this waterfront haven of international food, spacious playgrounds and playrooms, modern restaurants, historical architecture, and local and international culture. K-Town offers a little something for the whole family. Go West!
The beauty of Kennedy Town lies in its harmony of old and new, local and expat. Look out for funky low-rises from the '60's, medicinal tea shops, Cha Chaan Teng, and more. Mini history enthusiasts will cherish the stunning Lo Pan Temple which was erected in 1884 for the patron saint of Chinese builders and contractors. Continue your history lesson by walking along the WWII remains at the Mount Davis Path. To learn even more about the fort ruins and secret bunkers, try the talks and walks tour with Jason Wordie or Walk Hong Kong’s WW2 Walking Tour.

Kennedy Town is home to one of the last remaining undeveloped strips of waterfront in Hong Kong, but perhaps not for long. For a unique only-in-HK adventure, grab the kids' scooters and head to a newly developed area of Kennedy Town, the Western PCWA Landing no. 1. Although it doesn't have a great name, this is a great place to take the kids for a fun outdoor adventure. Other than a fun trip there are also many waterfront cafes and lunching spots to take the kids!
