”Meet-The-Zookeepers” @ The Botanical Gardens
See Real Animals & Meet A Real Zookeeper!

Animals are awesome, and many kids find that they're a fascinating topic to learn about. Sure, learning about orangutans in a classroom may be fascinating, but how cool would it be if you could tell your kids that they could go to a real-life zoo to see real-life zoo animals and meet real-life zookeepers!

At various times of the year, you can bring your kids and their friends to the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens to hear about the zookeepers' experiences with caring for primates and birds. Keeping in tune with the need to protect our earth, these zookeepers will also share their experiences with animal conservation.

This program is free admission and welcomes on-site registration. Specific dates are as follows:

  • October 12-13
  • November 30
  • December 1

Be sure to make your way to the gardens for interactive and educational weekends that you spend with the family! Please note, however, that the program will be conducted in Cantonese. Click here to find out more!

Learn about animal conservation and see real animals with the guidance of zookeepers!

2pm to 4pm on various weekends throughout 2019. Specific dates listed above!

Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, Albany Rd, Central, Hong Kong. www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/parks/hkzbg/programmes/zoo_education
