Hot off the press! Hong Kong Disneyland is officially reopening its doors on June 18, 2020, after months of closure due to COVID-19. The popular theme park offers strict precautionary measures to safeguard the health and safety of visitors.

Following the reopening of Ocean Park on June 13, 2020, Hong Kong Disneyland, is following suit. The Hong Kong park is the second Disneyland to reopen after the one in Shanghai opened to the public in May.

The park will implement enhanced health and safety procedures and a new reservation system for all guests:

- All guests entering the park will be required to undergo temperature screening and wear face masks.

- All guests are required to reserve their visit beginning 7 days prior to arrival.

- The park will implement social distancing in queues, restaurants, attraction vehicles, and other facilities.

- Unfortunately, all character experiences will be temporarily suspended due to requiring close interaction and close-up photos.
