Angkor: A UNESCO World Heritage Site
Exploring Cambodia’s Sacred City Exhibition In Singapore

Angkor is widely known as a A UNESCO World Heritage site with marvelous masterpieces of the archaeological complexes. However, way before the 19th century, they were less on the radar as they are today. In this exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum, you can expect to see rare Khmer sculptures, beautiful French drawings photographs, and memorabilia that portray deeply the story of the French encounter with Angkor that built its sensational emergence onto the international stage as to what it is today.

This exhibition is held in collaboration with the Guimet Museum in Paris. Do save some time to participate in the array of programmes and talks related to Angkor and contemporary Cambodian culture which have been scheduled for the public.

An exhibition which takes the visitors way back to the history of the journey of Angkor’s sensational emergence onto the international stage.

April 8 to July 22, 2018 from 10am to 7pm.
