Unique Theatre Workshops At HKA!
With - The International Schools Theatre Association

Calling are theatre lovers big and small...Hong Kong Academy is bringing a special awe-inspiring workshop to the city!  The International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA) is a registered charity based in the United Kingdom which works with an amazing ensemble of international artists, teachers and practitioners who are all leaders in their field.  This year, ISTA and Hong Kong Academy have partnered to offer students (both HKA students and non-students) an opportunity to experience top-level theatre training through a series of workshops.

What to expect?

*  Educators are key!  ISTA brings together young people, artists and teachers from different countries in different settings to experience, create and learn about theatre.

*  It's not just about theatre - it's teaching core skills!  ISTA believes that the future of our world depends on confident, internationally minded, collaborative and culturally literate young people who are empowered to engage with and change the world responsibly.  Their workshops are focused on empowering little people - a trait that is truly powerful in any future professional route.

* Fun + Inspiring:  Parents tell ISTA time and again that their child came home ‘changed’, ‘more confident’, with stronger communication skills, more passionate about the world of theatre, having made lifelong friends, totally inspired – the list goes on.  Amazing!
