Despite the island recording a comparatively low number of Coronavirus cases, preventative measures are still firmly in place with the Governor of Bali insisting everyone wear a mask should they need to leave their villa for work or essentials. With the whole island looking to cover up during COVID-19, Little Steps has created a handy list on where to source masks in Bali.

WHICH MASK SHOULD I WEAR?

While the disposable, three-layer surgical mask is recommended as the most effective in terms of limiting human to human transmission of the virus, most pharmacies on the island have been out of stock for some time. That being said, it is wise to check your local Kimia Farma or Guardian Pharmacy regularly to see if a new shipment has arrived as they tend to sell out immediately. Local hardware stores may still have stock of N95 masks, but these also sell out fast, so check regularly! At a recent government press conference, the director-general for disease control urged people to use cloth masks if possible and save the supply of surgical and N95 masks for medical workers. Luckily, fabric masks are now readily available across the island.
