With the New Year here, Little Steps is thrilled to announce our regional Blog Partners! These Mums have been handpicked by Little Steps as Top Mom Bloggers offering regional insight into parenting and playing with kids from Australia to Thailand and beyond. Meet them, read them, and welcome them to our ever-expanding community of go-to parents.
Like most moms, I have had several former lives, but the most notable (i.e. best fodder for writing) experiences have been: (1) Film school in LA (2) Filming a documentary in Anhui province in the frickin’ coldest weather ever with my frostbitten kids! (3) Working 4:30am shifts at CNN International (4) Bringing two lovely daughters into this world. I’m from Texas but met my sports-mad Aussie husband in HK, on the hockey pitch, no less.
Music, music, music and motherhood with a little Gwenyth Paltrow thrown in – she sings, she acts, she fist-bumps Glee kids.
Hong Kong is a fine place if you love Canto-pop but terrible if you enjoy real live music and good rock-n-roll and country. So I started this blog to reconnect to the music I love and to the people I love who love music. And to remind me that moms can still rock!

Once upon a time, I was a designer of buildings, interiors and graphics. Now, I clean poop and am a student of a Patience Management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, I’ve certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others...To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss.
It journals key developments of my evolution as a woman and a mother, my parenting style with my kids, and them as a result of it; peppered with random anything-ness from eating diaper rash cream to some amazing travels and heartwarming stories, to getting arrested and how to kill a mannequin.
Oh, to keep me sane. To keep me sane!! It works.

I am of Persian decent though born and raised in London. I have been living and working in Hong Kong for the past 7 years in Investment Banking. As a mother of two, the only way I manage to juggle work, kids and a husband is to run a tight ship…routines all round and a healthy balance of getting it right and learning from when I get it wrong.
It is less about how my day went and more informative and packed with advice and top tips - ALWAYS with reference to my own experience with my two toddlers. I’m totally addicted now.
After my daughter was born I was inundated with emails from friends who were new mothers, asking me for all sorts of advice: 'how to travel with a baby’, ‘how I used controlled crying’, ‘what to buy for a new born’…and suddenly I was writing paragraph replies via email. After then after my son was born, even more emails poured in: 'how to juggle a toddler with a new born’, ‘ sleeping and feeding schedules’, and so much more. My husband suggested I start a blog, and now I update it regularly with my tips and experiences.

I am a stay at home Mom of three children and a wife to Jay, who has been working for Caterpillar (hence the blog title) the last 5 years. I also do freelance photography, and I am an Art Consultant and dealer of Philippine Art.
Family, Parenting, Bangkok Life, Home, Shopping, etc.
Initially, I wanted to document our lives away from home; to reach out to family and friends. My first Blog (Catwife In Sing) was more personal and family oriented. This time, my sequel blog Catwife in BKK; I wanted to expand it -- still focus on our lives but also to orient and educate people about Bangkok. Culture, people, events and still touch on topics and things I love.

I am a full-time Mommy of two (with another one joining our family in May 2011!) and I work part-time from home. I believe childhood education should start at home and from day one and that the parent-child relationship should be built based on love, respect and trust.
It's essentially a parenting blog, and through photography, I share the ups and downs of parenting, arts and crafts ideas for kids, parenting tips as well as inspiration food for though in a hope to inspire others.
I officially started blogging in 2005 to update friends and family near and far about our little family. Over time I have developed a strong drive to share more on parenting and positive family values to a wider audience. I am honoured and fortunate to have Our Everyday Things recognized and awarded over the years too.

I am a 30-something career woman who loves to take pictures of two things: my baby and food.
My blog focuses on relationships -- whether parenting or marriage, food, wellness, and the little joys that make everyday great.
I started "Wifely Steps" when I got married to help fellow newlyweds adjust to married life. Over the years it has evolved into a food and parenting blog.

I am a first time Singaporean mummy with a passion for blogging. I just gave birth to a beautiful little princess on Halloween eve this year. As babies do not come with an instruction manual, I am enjoying learning and sharing everything that I can about how to become the best mummy.
Tips for first time new mummies, reviews of products by a mummy for mummies, anecdotes about my adventures as a mummy of a new born.
I started The Savvy Mummy blog to share useful information and tips about being a first time mummy and some funny and heartwarming anecdotes about my adventures.

I am a media executive turned stay-home-mom to two very young toddlers and am absolutely loving it.
A humorous take on parenting. It has also become a network of parents engaging in community work (see my posts on Happee Day).
I blog to chronicle and capture the moments spent with the two kids.

I am a 30-something Australian Mum to a one-year-old boy living in Hong Kong. I am a trained teacher but these days I spend less time in the classroom and more time chasing a busy toddler. Writing this blog allows me to combine my two greatest passions: writing and family.
A Mummy in a Strange Land is about my personal experiences and observations as a new mum living as an expat in Hong Kong. With the arrival of our little boy, I found myself rediscovering this amazing city and I wanted to share my experiences with others. Parenthood is a rollercoaster as it is let alone when you’re trying to do it in a foreign country a long way from family and friends.
There were days when I was so caught up with my son that I had not had a single adult conversation and I needed a way to express my anxieties, frustration, joys and sheer amazement at the new little person in our lives. I hope that other parents can read it and be reassured that someone else is going through the same thing, and maybe learn a thing or two, or at least have a good laugh.

I am a qualified early childhood teacher and Mum. With many years experience teaching preschool, early primary and directing a child care centre, I thought being a parent would be a breeze but quickly learned that the practicalities of parenting are very different to the theories!
Childhood! Everything from parenting issues like sleeping and behaviour to simple play and activity ideas. There’s tips for being more organised as a Mum and information about how young children learn. It really is a place for sharing the everyday trials and tribulations of being a parent in this modern day world.
As a new mum, I found that I missed having something for me as my work had always been such an important part of my life. My blog became what I did for me, an outlet for my thoughts and ideas and feelings. I love that whatever your parenting style or philosophy is, there are others around the world feeling, thinking and sometimes even enjoying a similar journey. Childhood 101 received the Nuffnang Best Parenting Blog Award on five months after it went live at the Asia Pacific blog awards.
